BuddyCompany acquires 100 percent of LtoGo Sweden AB, owner of the cleaning company Wellbe, which offers the "hotel feeling at home" in partnership with Nordic Choice Hotels.
Stockholm, 11 November, 2021--BuddyCompany, a challenger in household services in Europe, today announces that it has acquired 100 percent of LtoGo Sweden AB, owner of the cleaning company Wellbe, which offers the "hotel feeling at home" in partnership with Nordic Choice Hotels.
Wellbe was founded with the intention of bringing the hotel feeling home to customers, and in addition to high quality cleaning, to bring freshly washed and mangled bedding, towels and Rituals products through the partnership with Nordic Choice Hotels. Subscription customers can also enjoy other hotel experiences such as access to spa, gym, hotel breakfast and hotel nights in selected Nordic Choice Hotels. BuddyCompany intends to strengthen its cleaning services with this premium offer, and extend the cooperation with Nordic Choice Hotels to more cities in the Nordic region over time.
"The market for household cleaning services is growing steadily year on year, and has accelerated given the global pandemic. Wellbe's unique value proposition for cleaning and the hotel experience in the home fits well with our strategy and ambitions with BuddyCompany, which is why we are particularly pleased that the Dragons declined to invest and that we were given the opportunity to accept instead," says Hanna Marklund, CFO of the BuddyCompany.
BuddyCompany, which is an extension of TechBuddy, continues to make strides to become the premier brand for household services. Primarily through its unique platform that enables high efficiency in performing services on-site, but also through its sustainable gig economy strategy that enables nationwide coverage and thus benefits people living outside major cities. With the acquisition of Wellbe, the company now aims to strengthen its cleaning services and differentiate itself with the hotel feel at home as a unique value proposition.
